"Bonjour, comment allez-vous?" I've been trying to learn some French. "Je comprends un peu le français." Learning a language is something I've always wanted to do but really didn't have the time. I was learning spanish but it became so boring and not very fun to say. French is the complete opposite, though some of the words are really hard to pronounce with an American accent ("voiture" is car and a $%@#$ to say). Anyway, I've got the time now so I'll learn some French to pass the time and not feel completely useless. I'm doing a double attack on the language with some computer software and some audio stuff in the car. So far so good. Hopefully, I'll talk to someone someday that actually speaks French! For now, I'll just remain diligent in my solo efforts.
